Frequently asked questions

What to know before adding QR ordering

Visible features depend on the configuration selected for each business.

Does the customer need to install an app?

No. XPedidos opens in the phone browser after scanning the QR code or visiting the configured link.

Is it only for food service?

No. The journey can adapt to food service, retail, self-service and other businesses that need to receive digital orders.

Can I offer variants, extras and notes?

Yes. Products can offer option groups, quantities and instructions according to the available configuration.

Which payment methods are supported?

The business can enable Mercado Pago, cash at checkout or card at checkout. XPedidos only displays the available alternatives.

Is signing in mandatory?

Not necessarily. The flow allows guest checkout and can also offer Google access.

Can it request table, name or fiscal data?

Yes. Those fields, along with notes and invoice types, are requested only when the business configuration requires them.

How does the business receive the order?

The order is recorded with its identity so it can continue through the configured operational workflow. During the demo we review how it fits the business.

What is the difference between a QR menu and XPedidos?

A QR menu lets customers view the menu. XPedidos lets them build and confirm an order. Table orders, pickup and delivery are enabled according to the business configuration.

Must table orders always be paid before reaching the kitchen?

It depends on the enabled mode: payment when closing the bill or online payment for the new round before the kitchen. To receive table orders in XGestión, the receiving computer at the business must be connected and its shift must be open.
